MASTER BEDROOM
This Grosse Pointe Resident wanted a Master Bedroom with a clean, crisp design that had a quiet sophistication. With soft, hand painted wallpaper and textured neutral carpet, we surrounded ourselves with a neutral palette to work with. In order to maintain the serene environment we were trying to achieve, we kept our colors quiet and brought in interest with textures and the bold but understated black and white floral photography over the nightstands.
MASTER BATHROOM
This Master Bathroom renovation was designed to be harmonious with the bedroom which we designed at the same time; it was imperative there was a seamless flow from the bedroom, into the bathroom suite which had two distinct areas... the vanity area and the jacuzzi area. We kept the colors neutral, but added crystal sconces, some crystal hardware and interesting wallpaper for a little drama.
MASTER BATHROOM
Our goal was a quiet "spa like" retreat for the jacuzzi area of this Master Bathroom Suite. We removed the existing tub that was built in the floor and centered a dramatic tub with a curved mosaic tile front; we removed the two small glass block windows and added one large leaded glass window which gave us light but kept the privacy and used 12*24 marble on the floors and the walls. The oversized French mirror has crystal sconces on either side and it reflects the shaded crystal chandelier that hangs in the center of this room.
FAMILY ROOM
This Grosse Pointe family room was quite a design challenge. The homeowner needed a work space in this room and the existing desk felt very clunky; we decided to panel the entire room and build in a desk with bookcases to create a more cohesive, custom finish.
LIVING ROOM
This Fireplace is part of a master bedroom renovation that was done in a Balinese style. In order to maintain the minimalist style of Balinese design, we used touch latch hardware on the cabinetry so there was no interruption on the wall from cabinet pulls. The opening of the fireplace was made smaller, the hearth was raised with notched legs and a caramel colored onyx replaced the cold white ceramic tile.
LIVING ROOM
This Shelby Township Couple wanted a whole first floor renovation; in their great room we built a custom over mantel and built in mirrors to accentuate the height of the room and help maintain a sense of balance. We used Sheer drapery panels to the ceiling to create drama but allow light to still filter in.
DINING ROOM
With updated drapery, a new kitchen table and chairs and an iron chandelier this kitchen feels like a brand new space for this Shelby Township family.
DINING ROOM
In this Shelby Township dining room, the residents wanted to create a room with drama while using their existing table and chairs. We reupholstered the chairs with contrasting fabrics, added hand painted wallpaper with glass beads and a crystal chandelier to create a moody room with a sense of whimsy.
